“We spent one night at this hotel. It looks lovely from the outside. The welcome was friendly and all the staff were great. The rooms were quite small but really clean, which was wonderful. Breakfast was also very satisfactory, and we really liked the atmosphere of the place. One point is deducted because of the noise – you can really hear everything from the corridor, street, neighbouring rooms and floor above. It’s fine if you use earplugs, but the hotel should consider keeping a supply of them on hand for guests. Overall, a good stay and recommended!” (tripadvisor.com) 

“On a spontaneous short break to the coast for just one night, I came across the Hotel Stadt Hamburg, which I’d seen before but never visited. I thought the location was great, just around the corner from the old fishing harbour. The hotel is charming as it’s very small and friendly (I think there are only 14 rooms). The room was clean and of a good size. A great atmosphere overall. The breakfast buffet was substantial and I felt very comfortable in this hotel as a person travelling on my own.
